Special Guest - Ammie Cosplay

Our fifth Guest of Honour is Tony Daniels: the original voice of of Jedite and Wiseman in the DiC dub of Sailor Moon as well as various ancillary characters in the DiC and Cloverway dubs of Sailor Moon. He has voiced many characters including Gambit in X-Men: The Animated Series; Maxum Brain in Sidekick; Boris Balkov, Dunga, and Rick Anderson in Beyblade; and Hawkeye in Avengers: United They Stand. Tony’s voice talents also include impressions and the ability to mimic a variety of accents.

 

Special Guest - Ammie Cosplay

Our fourth Guest of Honour is Susan Roman: the original voice of Sailor Jupiter for the entire run of the DiC and Cloverway dubs of Sailor Moon. Susan is also known for many other voice roles including Snowy the dog in TinTin, Melissa Raccoon from the second season of The Raccoons, Champ Bear in The Care Bears Movie and the Care Bears TV series, Good Luck Bear in Care Bears: Journey to Joke-a-lot and The Care Bears' Big Wish Movie, Oliver and Judy Tate in Beyblade, Salima in Beyblade V-Force, and she had a recurring guest role as the Morlock leader Callisto in the first X-Men animated series.

 

Special Guest - Ammie Cosplay

Our Cosplay Guest of Honour is Ammie Cosplay. Ammie started sewing well over a decade ago and has been actively making Sailor Moon costumes for 10 years. As a masters level cosplayer she strives to teach other cosplayers, both novice and masters, tricks of the trade and believes through her own trial and error in the art of costume making, she would like to share the wealth of knowledge she has obtained in the hobby. She has been featured in magazines and books around the world regarding her costumes and lives by the motto "if I can make it, anyone can make it!" Special Guest - Jill Frappier

Our third Guest of Honour is Jill Frappier: the original voice of Luna for the entire run of the DiC and Cloverway dubs of Sailor Moon. Jill Frappier is an actor, storyteller, drama teacher "extraordinaire," and has performed in well over 100 plays at major theatres in Toronto and across Canada, including the Shaw and Stratford Festivals.

Jill's voice is frequently heard in CBC radio dramas and televised cartoon series. Her most notable cartoon roles are Luna in Sailor Moon, Mrs. Prysselius in Pippi Longstocking, Doucette in Anatole, the wicked Sherry in Totally Spiez, Little Mutt in Animal Shelf, Auntie Yorkshire in Pecola, and the Lady in Waiting (Jane's Mom) in Jane and the Dragon. Her pottery, under the brand Jill's Objets, was recently featured at the One of a Kind Show in Toronto.

 

Special Guest - Ron Rubin

Our second Guest of Honour is Ron Rubin: the original voice of Artemis for the entire run of the DiC and Cloverway dubs of Sailor Moon. Ron Rubin is one of the busiest animation actors around. His voice can be heard on countless anime shows and cartoon series including Doom Buggy in the Emmy Award winning Beetlejuice, Morph in Marvel Comic's X-Men, The Vision in Avengers, Lt. Mahoney in Police Academy, Dr. Badvibes in C.O.P.S., Stronk and Exostriker in Bakugan, Messy Bear in Care Bear's Big Wish Movie, Master XOX in SideKick, and Mr. Lederhosen in Stickin' Around to name a few. Of course, one of his most popular characters was none other than Artemis the cat, one our favourite furry friends in Sailor Moon.

 

Special Guest - Roland Parliament

Our first Guest of Honour is Roland Parliament: the voice of Melvin, director of the first 65 episodes of the DiC dub of Sailor Moon, and author of Sailor Moon Reflections. Don't have his book yet? You can order a copy in advance from his website and get it signed and personalized in person! Roland is bringing 50 soft cover copies and a small quantity of hard cover books to the celebration. If you prefer to order elsewhere, the book is available in soft cover and hard cover editions in various bookstores.

Please note that admission to exhibits at the Ontario Science Centre is optional and separately ticketed.

Cosplay Policy: The Ontario Science Centre is cosplay friendly! But there are some basic rules...

  • No weapons of any kind. Even if it's obviously fake, do not bring it. Security will not allow it, this is a public space. (this applies to anything that looks like a real world weapon)
  • Large props and bulky costumes are discouraged. The Science Centre is open to the public, please keep in mind how easily you will be able to move around and how other visitors will be able to get around to see exhibits or make their way around our event space.
  • Photos are awesome, but please make sure when taking photos that you aren't blocking traffic.
  • Most importantly - Have fun!

  • $100 for a full table (8' table in a 8' x 5' space in a premium location)

Volunteer Signup: Want to help out? If you would like to volunteer your time to help out with the Sailor Moon Celebration, please fill out this form. Volunteers who help out for at least 4 hours get free admission to the event! You can also receive a letter of reference on request after completing your volunteer hours.
